Being able to find different locations on your computer will help you find your files of photographs. This is essential to enable you to do things like email them, upload to a website, change or edit them.
There are usually three different occasions when you need to be able to find locations where your files and photographs are and each one uses a slightly system to find them (Open - Save or Save As - Browse).
To OPEN them so that you can view them or edit them.
(or a place to create a NEW FOLDER)
This usually means going directly to My Pictures or the Desktop
or My Documents. The easiest way is to use START and then look for the location you need
eg My Pictures.
Double click to open this and it will show your folders, pictures and files.
Next, open the appropriate folder by double clicking on it. Change View to Thumbnails so that you can see the images. Then find your picture(s) and double click to open them |
